By accessing or using DateAtlas ("dateatlas.app", the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

2. Description of Service

DateAtlas is a dating intelligence platform that provides aggregated data, comparisons, and editorial content about dating apps, safety, costs, and cultural insights for countries worldwide. The Service is provided "as is" for informational purposes only.

3. User Accounts and Registration

Certain features, including DateAtlas Pro, may require registration. You agree to provide accurate, complete information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service by automated means without our prior written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without attribution and written permission
• Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content

5. Intellectual Property

All content on DateAtlas, including text, data compilations, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of DateAtlas or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws. Our data methodology, scoring algorithms, and editorial content are proprietary. Third-party data is attributed to its respective sources (Numbeo, EF EPI, Google Play Store, World Bank, ILGA World).

6. DateAtlas Pro and Payments

DateAtlas Pro is a premium subscription service. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. DateAtlas does not warrant that the data is accurate, complete, or current. Safety scores, cost indices, and app rankings are informational estimates and should not be your sole basis for travel or personal safety decisions. Always exercise your own judgment and consult official sources for critical safety information.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DATEATLAS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amounts paid by you to DateAtlas in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Berlin, Germany. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
