Use of Names, Logos, and Trademarks (Nominative Fair Use)
All product names, app names, logos, icons, screenshots, and brands referenced on DateAtlas are the property of their respective owners. We use them solely to identify, describe, review, and compare the products they refer to — which is necessary to provide reviews and comparisons. This is lawful nominative and descriptive fair use: we use only as much of each mark as is reasonably necessary to identify the product being discussed, and nothing on this site suggests sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation by the trademark owner. We do not use any third-party logo or name as our own brand identifier, and we do not restyle any mark into our branding. Where we display an app's logo, we do so only at the size and fidelity needed to identify the app, never to suggest the owner produced, reviewed, or approved our content. They are not statements of objective, verifiable fact about any app or company. Reasonable people may disagree. Scores are interpretive estimates derived from data of varying recency and completeness, are subject to change, and should not be treated as definitive measurements of any product's quality, safety, or performance. Some app summaries are AI-assisted research drafts and are labeled as such; they have not been verified through hands-on testing. Any score we publish is our own authored assessment and is distinct from any official app-store rating.
Data Sources and Accuracy
We compile and summarize data from third-party sources, including Numbeo, the EF English Proficiency Index, the World Bank, ILGA World, the CIA World Factbook, Statista, and the Google Play Store, together with publicly reported information and our own editorial research. We attribute these sources where used, but we do not control them and cannot guarantee that any figure is accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. Third-party data is provided "as is," may contain errors, may be incomplete, and may change without notice. Many figures are estimates that we normalize or weight, are snapshots in time, and may differ from official figures published by the app operators themselves. App features, pricing, ratings, ownership, and policies change frequently. Where a score, ranking, or label reflects our own methodology, it represents our editorial assessment and opinion, not a statement of objective fact about any company. Reported Information About Apps and Their Operators
Where we describe events, controversies, regulatory actions, data incidents, lawsuits, or user complaints involving a named app or its operator, we are summarizing matters that have been reported by third parties, by users in public reviews, or that reflect our editorial assessment as of the date shown. Such statements are presented as report or opinion, not as our own independent verification of fact. We make no representation that any such report is true, and we do not adopt any reported allegation as our own factual assertion. Details may be incomplete, contested, outdated, or subsequently resolved or remediated by the operator. Third-Party Ratings and Authored Scores
Where we display app-store ratings, those ratings are controlled by third parties (for example, the Google Play Store) and are attributed to them. Any aggregate rating we calculate — for example, an average across the countries we track — is our own derived editorial figure. It is not the official app-store rating and may differ from the rating shown in any app store.
